Targeting a historical win
The LEN Euro Cup will see a new winner as none of the semifinalist sides clinched this trophy beforehand. Ferencvaros (HUN), twice a losing finalist (in 1995 and 1997) is visiting Jadran Herceg Novi (MNE) – this is going to be a tremendous encounter as Jadran played in the Champions League last season, while the Hungarians have been strengthened by a couple of quality players, both sides had a great chance even to win the trophy.
The other pairing features DiGi Oradea (ROU) and CSM Verona (ITA), both have made the final round of the Champions League qualifications and now looking for some consolation in the Euro Cup. Verona might be favoured, however, the experienced Romanians are ready to cause an upset.
