Elective Congress – Reminder
London (GBR), May 8th
Further to the communication sent from
the LEN Office on November 6th. 2015, advising you of the LEN Bureau
decision to set the venue and date for the LEN Elective Congress as May 8th.
2016, in London, it is my duty to formally remind you that we require all
nominations for LEN Officer and Bureau positions by no later than February 8th. 2016 in accordance with LEN Constitutional Rule C 10.2.2.
The Office would also wish to draw your
attention to LEN Constitutional rules in this regard, in particular C 10.1.3, and to ensure that the
nominating affiliated National Federation supports fully each candidate, we ask
that the nomination forms are endorsed by each Federation confirming their
understanding of their obligations.
In order to assist harmonizing the
whole process, we enclose nomination forms which were prepared for this purpose,
and ask that all forms be addressed to the General Secretary.
The Office will, of course, acknowledge
safe receipt.
Regarding candidates for LENs
Technical Committees, the Office would also welcome the filled forms from each National
Federation, with a clear statement of support for each applicant, within May 8th. 2016. The
new elected Bureau shall appoint the Committees at its first meeting.
As such, it would be most cooperative of
you that the newly elected Bureau could have been promptly provided with auxiliary
details of the nominees, asap.
The LEN Constitutional Rules and
Congress Regulations, as well as the current list of all Technical and
Specialized Committees is available on our website and/or can be found in the
Handbook, too.
Additional logistical aspects of the Congress
in subject, shall soon be dispatched in conformity.
