Around 1000 athletes from across the continent will line-up for Madeira 2023, the first-ever European Masters Short Course Swimming Championships, in Portugal.
The event, which will see swimmers take to the pool and the ocean during seven days of racing, takes place on the Portuguese Island of Madeira from 19-25 November.
“On behalf of the European Masters Swimming Championships 2023 Local Organising Committee, I am delighted to welcome you to Funchal, Madeira, Portugal,” said European Aquatics and Portuguese Swimming Federation President Antonio Silva.
The finalised entry list (see below) includes not only the names of the athletes who will line-up in Madeira, but also the races they will line-up in, allowing swimmers to prepare for their respective ‘splash and dash’ showdowns.
The team guide includes key information about transport, accreditation, accommodation and training access ahead of, as well as during, the Masters Championships.
