COACHING & EDUCATION COMMISSION

The European Aquatics Coaching & Education Commission is a cornerstone of Pillar 2 of the Strategic Plan. The Commission is entrusted with the mission to foster the education, skill enhancement, and holistic development of swimming coaches throughout Europe. Moreover, the Commission is tasked to provide evidence-based recommendations through the coaches lenses to the Technical Committees and European Aquatics leadership.
A member of the Commission sits in an ex-officio capacity on Technical Swimming Committee.

The Commission is a catalyst for knowledge dissemination and professional growth amongst the coaching community. Our comprehensive set of yearly Clinics caters to coaches of different tiers, including High Performance Coaches, Youth/Development Coaches and Age Group Coaches. The clinics serve as vehicle for sharing expertise, upskilling coaching techniques, and remaining updated on the sport’s latest innovations.

The Commission actively supports development programmes, twinning initiatives between more and less developed countries, contributing to the equitable spread of coaching proficiency.
Coaches working within Europe can discover the transformative power of education and collaboration with the European Aquatics Coaching & Education Commission.
